This is the Community Solutions apprentice and trainee page. We’re all about providing employment options for apprentices and trainees. Working with our strong industry connections, we place aspiring apprentices and trainees into a role in their desired field.

We also work with governments to access funding, such as pre-apprenticeship programs, where candidates can earn while they learn and, bonus… get invaluable on the job work experience at the same time!

This is also a one stop shop for Field Officers to stay up to date in the industry. Here you’ll find current apprenticeship and traineeship vacancies, industry and stakeholder information and a list of useful quick links to help with your day-to-day tasks.

Interested in having a trainee join your team?

We’re experts at giving trainees and apprentices a leg up in the industry and we offer customisable internal traineeships and school-based traineeships for students in year 11 and 12. This means you have the opportunity to tailor specialised programs for your business departments through us. It’s a win-win for both professional development and departmental growth.

We take the hassle out of employing an apprentice or trainee by taking care of all of their employment requirements, including:

• recruitment
• pre-employment checks
• payroll
• WorkCover

It doesn’t stop there. We organise formal training and provide ongoing support for you and your trainee as they continue their journey with you.

Reward and recognition

We are passionate about ensuring success is recognised and rewarded.

Nominating is easy and takes less than 2 minutes. If you would like to nominate a Community Solutions apprentice or trainee, simply complete this form and nominate who you believe deserves some recognition!

One apprentice, trainee and host employer will be announced as the winner for each quarter, each walking away with a $150 gift card.
