Chloe finds full-time fulfillment

Chloe Plant completed a 12-month Certificate III in Business Administration with Community Solutions back in 2019 while working full time. Chloe started in the Specialist Services team before she moved into the Customer Solutions Team while completing her qualification.

Chloe completed her Certificate III in Business Administration and was offered a fulltime position in the Customer Solutions Team in Sept 2020 until July 2022 where she accepted the role as Team Leader for the Customer Care Team in North QLD.

Chloe knew she wanted, and was excited, to make a difference to people’s lives as well as reach her own dreams along the way.

I decided to do a traineeship through CSG as I understood the importance of helping people reach their goals and I was excited to make a difference. Within my role of helping people reach their goals I realised CSG was helping me reach my own goals along the way. There are so many exciting opportunities and avenues that a person can go down within CSG and I would recommend the program for anyone looking for a traineeship.

Chloe

Chloe manages a team of six Customer Care Consultants with Community Solutions in North Queensland and counts herself lucky for the opportunities Community Solutions has given her throughout her journey.

CSG has so many different programs and paths you can go down which has helped me to get to where I am today. The encouragement from management and colleagues has been incredible and I would not be where I am today without the people guiding me along the way.

Chloe found both fulfillment in her role, and a supportive team, seeing the value the traineeship has given in reaching her goals.

Being Team Leader for the North QLD Customer Care Team is extremely rewarding. I love how well the team work together and get excited when their customers gain employment or if they’ve made some positive changes in their lives. I count myself lucky to have the opportunities CSG has provided me to help me grow into the person I am today.

And the good news doesn’t stop there, Chloe’s manager, Monica sees the value in hiring a trainee for her team.

It is very rewarding to be involved, and observe a person’s growth and development, help them build relationships and become a valued member of the team. It can seem time consuming, but when done effectively and with full commitment, the rewards for everyone involved are well worth the time and effort.

Monica

When reflecting on the recruitment process, Monica found it easy, focusing on attitude, enthusiasm and fit for the team, rather than skills.

Including a trainee as a member of your team also allows role and business specific training, which can lead to further opportunities in that business once the traineeship is completed.
