We’re committed to providing safe, comfortable homes for the people we support. To keep doing that, rent and board amounts may change from time to time. Here’s how it works:
Rent
- Rent can only increase once per year.
- People will always receive at least two months’ notice.
- Rent changes follow government guidelines and NDIA pricing to reflect cost of living increases.
- Rent covers the cost of living in the property, including maintenance, safety checks, and insurance.
Board
- Board is reviewed twice a year – usually in March and September – in line with pension increases.
- Board covers shared living costs like food, utilities, household items, and Wi-Fi.
Things to Remember
If someone pays through Centrepay, they’ll need to update payment details in myGov or through Centrelink. Have questions? View the powerpoint presentation, read the FAQs or speak to your leader.
