Recording donations received at your site or service

Recording donations received at your site or service
Have you received a donation at your site or service?
You may have a generous community member or a business gift you a donation to support your amazing work. Any donations you receive directly are yours to bank and use in accordance with your division’s money handling policies and procedures. However, these funds need to be recorded centrally through the fundraising department first.
We need to do this because:
- It is vital we keep donation records year on year that we can report on not just internally, but back to our donors and supporters
- Centralised records are important for auditing purposes
- Acknowledging these donations is an important part of the business’s fundraising practise – acknowledgements can include thank you cards, a listing in the annual report, a personalised phone call, etc.
When you receive a donation directly to your site, please complete the donation received form here.
Funding for your service or program

Funding for your service or program
If you have a project that you’d like to undertake but need funding, the project may be eligible for a grant.
Our grants team can help with identifying appropriate grant opportunities for which your project may meet certain eligibility and funding criteria.
Important things to note:
- Any project involving site facilities and equipment must first be reviewed and approved by the Asset Management team. This can be done by submitting a new request online via MEX – www.endeavour.mex.com.au.
- Most grant opportunities will not fund an organisation’s general operating expenses e.g. staff wages or prizes, gifts and trophies or projects underway.
- Each project must have a project plan, including a detailed budget, and be approved by a manager.
- Grant funding cannot be applied for retrospectively. If a grant application is successful, the project cannot commence until the grant funds have been received.
- All successful grants require a project acquittal report at the end of the funding term.
To submit a funding enquiry, please complete the project funding request form.
If you have any questions about grant funding, please contact the grants team: [email protected].

Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving
Workplace giving, also known as payroll giving, involves contributing regular and consistent donations through your pay, back to the organisation to help fund our important work. You nominate how much of your pay you would like to donate on a regular basis – for example, $5 each week, fortnight, or month – and you can choose whether to have that donation deducted before or after tax.

Don’t have a Will? You can write one online for free
Endeavour Foundation has partnered with Gathered Here to offer our staff and supporters the opportunity to write your Will online for free. If you don’t have a complex estate and don’t need the assistance of a solicitor, an online Will is a straightforward and easy way to set out your wishes in a legitimate, legal document that you can refer back to and update as often as you want and need. You can also choose to leave a gift in your Will to the charity of your choice when making your Will online.
To start your online Will, visit the Gathered Here page on our website.
