Emergency Management Plans
An Emergency Management Plan is a legal requirement for all businesses which outlines what workers and others at a workplace should do in an emergency.
Our Emergency Management Plan has been written to support our organisation (Endeavour Foundation including Community Solutions Group and BRACE) in the event of an emergency. All state legislation has been considered when preparing this document.
This Emergency Management Plan has taken into consideration the NDIS standard practices to ensure that the risks to the health, safety and wellbeing of participants that may arise in an emergency or disaster are considered. These risks can then be mitigated which ensures the continuity of supports critical to the health, safety, and wellbeing of participants in an emergency or disaster.
All of our sites, including support centre, social enterprises, Learning and Lifestyle (L&L) hubs, disability accommodation, resource recycling centres, need to have a current Emergency Management Plan in place.

Disaster Management
Our Emergency Management Plans include responses to natural disasters such as cyclones, bushfires, and floods. These updates ensure we consider other environmental factors and threats and the potential impact on health and safety across our sites, providing improved planning in the safeguarding of our clients, people, and sites.
