We’ve got great news #teampossible – a new four week roster cycle is now in motion for our frontline workers!
We’ve listened to your feedback and understand that stability and certainty in your personal lives is important to you. We’re confident that this new system will help to bring better balance for you and your families.
The new cycle requires 4 simple weekly actions to help it flow:
Week 1: Readiness
Prior to this first week of the cycle, you’ll need to let rostering know of any approved leave or unavailability for the next four weeks. This will enable rostering to designate available shifts across the upcoming cycle.
Week 2: Respond
Be sure to respond to your shifts by the Wednesday of the second week – this allows enough time for these to be worked into your next roster cycle.
Week 3: Receive
On Saturday of the third week your four week roster will be sent to you – four weeks in advance of it starting.
Week 4: Relax and Pick Up
Your manager will be notified of any remaining unfilled shifts – please speak to your manager if you would like to take on any potential extra shifts.
Visit the rostering intranet page for further information and to download the fact sheet.
Things to remember:
- Don’t worry if you forget a step in the process – we’ll send you a text at each stage of the cycle to remind you!
- The important days to remember are Wednesdays and Saturdays – these are the deadline days to provide rostering information about your commitments
- Your manger is here to help you transition to this new cycle – speak with them directly or email the rostering team at [email protected] for support.
We welcome your feedback as we introduce the new cycle and will work with you to make adjustments if required. It’s important we get this right for everyone, including you, your families and our customers.
