The launch of our new Leading @ Endeavour initiative is a direct result of listening to our employees’ views in the Employee Engagement Survey 2020 – highlighting leadership development as a key focus area.

What is Leading @ Endeavour?

Leading @ Endeavour has been developed in partnership with industry experts who will deliver a number of development programs over the next three years, including:

  • Frontline Supervisors – supervisors of individuals
  • Frontline Leaders – leaders of individuals
  • Middle Line Leaders – leaders of units
  • Senior Leaders – leaders of functions

A Frontline Leader program graduate tells all

A recent graduate from the 2020 Frontline Leader program of 18 leaders, Marissa Nankivell has worked with Endeavour Foundation for eight years and eight months. As a Site Manager in the Community portfolio, she said the learnings are helping her every day to be a better leader for my team.

The course was a great reflection on my personal management style, and it was validation that I’m on the right path,” Marissa said.

The tools received during the course were ‘incredibly beneficial” according to Marissa. “I particularly valued those that related to my personality style and those within the team,” she said.

The tools have helped her and her team to leverage off each other’s strengths. The program has also encouraged team members to complete Personal Professional Development Action Plan and look for their own learning opportunities.

Marissa has advice for future program participants.

Definitely do it! Take the leap, take the time for yourself, and try all the tools – they make such a massive difference,” she said.
