Last month, the Board and executive team stepped out of the boardroom and onto the production line at our Castle Hill and Mt Druitt social enterprise sites. This was no ordinary visit — it was all about rolling up their sleeves, working buddy-style with employees.
From assembling Colway Chipotle Sauces to packing products with precision, the team got a firsthand look at the care, planning and teamwork that goes into our operations.
Board member Michelle Hughes shared a laugh about her experience:
“Let’s just say packing Chipotle Sauces isn’t my strong suit! The amazing team at Castle Hill had a great time teaching me, especially when I accidentally packed six bottles instead of five!”
The laughter and camaraderie on the floor truly showed the heart of what we do: creating meaningful employment pathways and empowering people we support.
It was a day filled with connection, learning, and a shared sense of purpose, reminding us all why we do what we do.
