A thank you letter to you from the Hon Bill Shorten MP
Hi #TeamPossible,

Our frontline workers were undoubtedly critical in providing safe and high-quality support to people during the COVID-19 pandemic – a time that profoundly affected how we lived, worked and socialised.

I am pleased to share below an open letter from the Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Minister for Government Services, the Hon Bill Shorten MP, recognising your commitment to supporting people with disability during the pandemic.

This recognition is well-deserved and highlights the efforts of frontline staff (and teams who support them) over the past two and a half years to build a safe and inclusive space for people of all abilities to thrive at home, at work and in the community.

It is also a timely reminder that our role in protecting ourselves and the people we support from COVID-19 is still ongoing and remaining up to date on vaccination remains our best defence, especially as we move towards winter 2023.

In response to your feedback, over the next 24 months, we will dedicate much of our efforts to delivering initiatives that provide growth opportunities and more significant support to our frontline teams – we want you to continue to feel supported now and in the future.

Thank you, #TeamPossible for your vital part in making possibilities a reality for the people we support – you are at the heart of our success.

Kind regards,
