The crew from Castle Hill Learning and Lifestyle Hub and Business Solutions are getting together monthly for NDVR Social Saturdays.
The Castle Hill Home and Community team saw an opportunity to bring people together for social outings who otherwise may not have been able to arrange group get-togethers or get out and about on the weekend.
It is also a great opportunity for Business Solutions work-mates to socialise with one another outside of work and to meet people from the L&L or people who receive 1:1 support.
The team mini-bus allows the group to visit places a bit further afield like the Sydney Zoo.
They have also explored Kiama and visited the famous Kiama Blowhole. The blowhole was formed from volcanic activity millions of years ago and shoots water up to 25 metres in the air!
From exploring stunning sights to a delicious Cafe lunch the day was full of fun and connection. Nerida summed it up telling Team Lead Ryan “I’m having an awesome time.”
The team is busily arranging a 2025 program of activities for ‘NDVR Social Saturdays’ to explore new places, have more great times and hopefully expand the program to other NSW sites.
