The excitement was ‘reel’ at Lawnton L&L as the drama group finally got their hands on a brand-new camera! Thanks to funds raised from their hit film The Haunted House, the team took a special outing to JB HiFi, ready to upgrade their filmmaking gear.
Chloe, Alex, and Brandan led the charge, eager to find the perfect camera for their next big production. Chloe and Alex, who starred in The Haunted House, were especially excited, while Brandan who recently joined the drama program-soaked up every moment of the experience.
With support from staff, the group researched different cameras, compared prices, and carefully planned where to buy from. At the store, they had a blast testing out different models, imagining all the incredible scenes they could bring to life. When they finally picked the perfect one, there were smiles all around – this wasn’t just about buying a camera, it was about taking their creativity to the next level.
As Brandan put it,
Look out, we are going to be even much more scarier!
This milestone follows the success of Zombie Nun, a spine-tingling horror comedy written by Sam and brought to life by the talented Lawnton Drama Academy. The film was a hit at its Halloween premiere, with the excitement growing so much that Lawnton L&L even hosted a special Halloween screening event to celebrate.
