Roslyn turns 70, celebrating 50+ years together

In November 2024, we celebrated Roslyn’s 70th birthday!

Roslyn joined the Endeavour Foundation family over 50 years ago, starting at the Ingham Learning and Lifestyle hub in 1973 before moving into Supported Independent Living in 1983.

Over the years, Roslyn’s independence has flourished. She sets the dinner table every night, does her own washing, helps with grocery shopping, and keeps busy with odd jobs around the house.

Her energy and positivity are unmatched.

“Roslyn has the energy of a 20-year-old, has a very positive outlook on life and is willing to give anything a go,” says Leanne Baker, Roslyn’s Support Worker.

Roslyn is also very active in the community, swimming, attending equine therapy, playing bocce, and catching up with friends.

Happy 70th birthday, Roslyn! Thank you for inspiring us every day.
