Rickie recognised as Employee of the Year!

Rickie Wilson, from the Mt Druitt social enterprise, is on a winning streak, and we’re here for it!

First up, Rickie was awarded the prestigious Mt Druitt Joyce Langworthy Employee of the Year award at last year’s Christmas function—a well-earned recognition of his incredible work ethic. Whether he’s operating the pallet stretch wrapper, running the baler to recycle cardboard, or jumping in to help with general packaging, Rickie always gives 110%.

But the celebrations didn’t stop there! On Australia Day, Rickie officially became an Australian citizen in a ceremony at Blacktown. Since then, he’s been soaking up Aussie slang and riding high on Cloud 9.

Rickie’s positive attitude and friendly nature make him a true asset to the Mt Druitt site. He’s proud of his work, and we’re proud of him. Rickie said:

The thing is, I’m very proud of what I have achieved. I love my work here, I’m really proud of myself and what I do and love coming to work every day.

A huge congratulations to Rickie!
