
Big congratulations to Raven Dargent who recently completed his Certificate III in Commercial Cookery apprenticeship at Bushland Beach Tavern (Lillywhite Hotel Group).
Raven’s love for cooking started at home, inspired by his dad, who’s also a chef. In fact, when Raven kicked off his apprenticeship, his dad handed him his own knives to get him started! Over the years, Raven’s turned that inspiration into serious skill and passion for the kitchen.
Through his hard work, Raven has landed a full-time gig at The Shorehouse, one of Townsville’s top Asian restaurants. While his team at Bushland Beach Tavern will miss him, they’re thrilled to see him take this exciting next step. His colleagues say Raven’s a quiet achiever who gets the job done, communicates like a pro, and is respected by everyone he works with.
Fun fact: his venue manager and a bunch of teammates even showed up to his graduation to cheer him on!
