This week is National Reconciliation Week! A time to learn, reflect and embrace the importance of Reconciliation. Everyone has the potential to play a significant role in our journey towards a more reconciled Australia. We walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on this journey, committed to embedding reconciliation into the way we work, connect, and live each day – listening, learning and taking meaningful action to help shape a more just and inclusive future.
The theme for NRW 2025 is ‘Bridging Now to Next’. This theme represents the ongoing relationship between past, present and future and calls on all of us to continue to look forward as we learn and reflect on past lessons.
Driving Reconciliation Forward at Endeavour Foundation
At Endeavour Foundation, reconciliation is more than a commitment, it’s a journey we’re actively shaping through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Since forming last year, our RAP Working Group has met monthly to reflect, share experiences, and explore new ways to turn intent into impact.
Building on two previous Reflect RAPs, we’re now developing our Innovate RAP, focused on meaningful, lasting actions that embed reconciliation into everything we do. Together, we’re working to create real change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their families, and communities. – Meet our RAP Working Group.
Become an NDVR RAP Champion – Help Lead Reconciliation at Your Site
As we prepare to finalise our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we’re calling on passionate individuals to help bring it to life across our organisation. The RAP Working Group has identified the need to drive stronger, site-based action and that’s where you come in.
We’re seeking expressions of interest from team members across Endeavour Foundation and Community Solutions Group to become NDVR RAP Champions; local champions who will help embed reconciliation into everyday practice and support the delivery of our RAP.
As an NDVR RAP Champion, you’ll:
- Lead reconciliation efforts at your site
- Help create inclusive, culturally safe environments
- Support the RAP Working Group in turning commitments into action
If you’re passionate about reconciliation and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
