Maryborough crew saw success ahead with timber qualification

There’s a buzz of motivation at the Maryborough social enterprise, where seven employees we support have signed up to complete their Certificate III in Timber and Wood Production Operations led by Talent Acquisition Specialist, Jessica Dullaway and with support from The National Timber and Hardware Association (NTHA).

The nationally recognised course is being delivered onsite by NTHA, making it easier for the team to balance learning with hands-on work experience.

Led by Jessica Dullaway, the Maryborough crew were selected for their established skills and their drive to transition into mainstream employment.

We are so proud to be able to host this program onsite. Our employees were chosen for their established skills, acknowledging their intentions to transition towards mainstream employment – and we could not be more supportive, said Jessica Dullaway.

A big thank you to Community Solutions Program Coordinator, Andy Goold and Field Officer, Teneal Kirby for supporting enrolments and training contracts.

We wish the best of luck to this timber-tastic team as they grow their careers from the ground up.
