The air was warm, the sun was shining, and adventure was calling. The crew from Lawnton L&L packed up, piled into the bus, and set off for a day among the mountains. Destination? Glasshouse Mountain and Wild Horse Lookout.
It didn’t take long for the road trip vibes to kick in. Paul kicked things off with a hum, and before you knew it, the whole bus was belting out “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” One song led to another, filling the ride with music, laughter, and a few questionable harmonies (but that’s all part of the fun, right?).
First stop: Glasshouse Mountain. The fresh mountain air hit like a reset button. Morning tea was unpacked, stretches were done, and with that, the group was off—exploring trails, spotting wildlife, and soaking up nature’s best work. The trees stood tall, the birds put on a soundtrack, and for a moment, everything just felt peaceful.
Lunch was a feast of good food and even better company. Tales were swapped, snacks were shared, and then it was time for the final challenge of the day—Wild Horse Lookout.
Now, this climb wasn’t for the faint-hearted, but the view? Absolutely worth it. Rolling hills stretched on forever, mountains stood proud, and the world just felt… big. Everyone took a moment to soak it all in, snap some pics, and breathe deep.
The ride home was a little quieter—some dozed off, some watched the world blur past, and others chatted about the day’s highlights. One thing was certain, though: this was one for the books.
Lawnton L&L took on the mountains, and they did it in style.
