This Easter, care and compassion weren’t just words, they were served warm from the heart of Kingston L&L. When many were counting their Easter eggs, the Kingston crew were counting the ways that they can help their community.
Led by Ravi Passi, the entire L&L team came together to prepare and deliver hearty homemade meals for people experiencing homelessness across the Brisbane South and Gold Coast regions. It was Ravi’s idea, but it became a true team effort. Staff spent the day cooking side by side with people we support, creating beautiful meals and a whole lot of Easter spirit.
In the afternoon, the meals were hand-delivered with kindness – reminding everyone that community is one of those finer things in life, just as much as a shared homemade meal is.
