The Keon Park L&L hit Melbourne this week for the 2025 Australian Open (AO25) Grand Slam’s All Abilities Day, and it was an experience to remember! They didn’t just watch incredible All Abilities tennis action – they got stuck in themselves. The group had the chance to try their hand at padel and tennis in the AO25’s Top Court zone, all while enjoying the cool shade and a supportive environment designed for fun, inclusion, and plenty of action.
One of the standout moments was when Matthew, a huge fan of Australian former wheelchair tennis champion Dylan Alcott, had the privilege of meeting his hero. During the post-exhibition match Q&A, Matthew seized the opportunity to ask Dylan the question he had been eager to ask. It was an unforgettable experience for Matthew and everyone who witnessed the joy on his face.
A massive thank you to AO25 and Tennis Australia for creating such an inclusive and fun event, staying true to their commitment to “tennis for every body!” It’s clear that events like these make tennis accessible to all, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have been part of it.
