The Brisbane-based crew of racing yacht Mister Lucky, Rohan Wood and Todd Giraudo, are our newest additions to #TeamPossible. Eager to put their hands up and represent people with disability at this year’s race, Mister Lucky will proudly embody Endeavour Foundation branded battle flags and sail, thanks to an incredible and generous sponsor (who wishes to remain anonymous). Passionate about supporting people with disabilities, the sponsor also donated an astounding $90,000 to make possibilities a reality for the people we support.
Sponsorship rights are hugely sought after in the Sydney to Hobart event. For our sponsor to gift us this incredible Endeavour Foundation sail is incredibly generous. It’s like a free billboard on the water… but one we’ll use to inspire, educate and spread the word of this wonderful, 71-year-old foundation.

As Brisbane’s only double-handed yacht sailors in the big event, we’re so proud to be supporting Endeavour Foundation – one that supports so many people.
With more than 60 years collective experience, Rohan Wood and Todd Giraudo are dreaming big for a race filled with possibilities.

While the Endeavour Foundation sail will be sent directly to Sydney for us to hoist for the first time, we believe it’s innovative design could give us a winning edge in the right weather conditions.
Ordinarily, a sail like this would not be something we could afford due to its new technology price tag. It’s a great example of how genuine support can truly impact someone or something if offered

CEO David Swain wished Mister Lucky all the best for the event.
We’re incredibly grateful and honoured to have our flag flown during this iconic event,

“To endeavour to do something, means to try hard to achieve an aim or a goal – and that’s what we do every day as we partner with people who live with disability, to help make their possibilities a reality,”
“I’d like to thank Mister Lucky for their support and wish the whole team well in their own endeavour to win the Sydney to Hobart double-handed yacht race.”
From Monday, 26 December to Saturday, 31 December 2022, yachts from across the world will be taking on the open seas to travel the 630 nautical miles from Sydney to Hobart.
You can help put a strong wind in their sails as they cross the finish line – hopefully in first place – by donating here.
