Empowering financial independence

Keon Park, QArt, Kew and Oakleigh social enterprises recently had their inaugural superannuation education event, tailored exclusively for employees we support, in collaboration with our superannuation provider smartMonday.

The sessions aimed to empower our employees with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions.

Over 150 employees (~50% of VIC) attended the sessions – plus dozens of staff, families, guardians and Area Advisory Group members. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting a strong demand for more frequent sessions.

“This initiative is pivotal in ensuring our employees are financially empowered. It’s about giving them the tools they need to thrive.”

Carlos Aguado, Operations Manager for NSW/VIC

Our new strategy, focusing on financial wellbeing, aims to engage 40% of its workforce in financial health checks, setting a benchmark for inclusivity and empowerment.

We look forward to expanding this initiative to other areas, ensuring that every employee has the education and information they need to make informed financial decisions.
