The Easter Public Holidays 2023 are as follows:
| Friday, 7 April | Good Friday |
| Saturday, 8 April | Day following Good Friday |
| Sunday, 9 April | Easter Sunday |
| Monday, 10 April | Easter Monday |

Important information
- Your pay for the fortnight ending Friday, 31 March will be finalised and in your designated bank account by this Thursday (i.e. before the Easter break), which means your pay will not be affected by the upcoming public holidays.
- There will be no off-cycle payments made this week due to the Good Friday Public Holiday. The next off-cycle payments aren’t scheduled until Friday, 14 April.
- Please make sure your timesheets have been fully submitted (and not left under ‘saved’).
- Leaders, please approve timesheets and leave applications by 6pm Monday, 3 April to avoid your team members not being paid.
- Leaders please make sure your team members’ work schedules are up-to-date in PeopleSoft to ensure they are paid correctly.
Submitting your timesheet
For those employees who submit timesheets, did you know you can check the status of your timesheet after you hit the ‘submit’ button? There is a little symbol that appears under the date on your timesheet (see the example below).

- If the symbol is a ‘disk’ it means the timesheet is still in a ‘saved’ state and hasn’t been submitted.
- To send it to your leader you need to click the ‘submit’ button.
- If this doesn’t happen, your leader won’t be able to see that your timesheet is ready to be approved, which means it won’t go to Payroll for payment.
- When your timesheet has been submitted, the symbol will change to a ‘Cog’ or ‘Wheel’, which indicates it’s sitting with your leader for approval.
- Once approved, the symbol will then change to a ‘Tick’, which indicates the timesheet has been completed and approved, and will flow through to Payroll for payment.
If you have any questions about how to correctly fill in your timesheet, please talk to your leader. You can also email us at [email protected].
In the meantime – enjoy eating far too much chocolate and HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
