Kudos to the very first apprentice, Darcy Melinz (left), who has just begun his Certificate III in Engineering (Machining/Fitting) apprenticeship with Makerspace. Community Solutions have an ongoing partnership with the Manufacturing Excellence Forum and Dominic Vrolijks (right) from Makerspace.
Darcy has hit the ground running, impressing everyone with his enthusiasm and work ethic from day one. In a fun twist, Darcy’s identical twin brother is also completing the same qualification with another Community Solutions Host, proving that talent runs in the family!
This partnership not only highlights our commitment to creating employment opportunities for young people but also showcases how collaboration can help make possibilities a reality.
We’re confident that Darcy will be an invaluable asset to Makerspace, and we look forward to seeing him thrive in his new role.
