DAP Northern Territory team joins #TeamPossible

DAP Northern Territory team

Please join us in welcoming Northern Territory’s Defence Assistance Program (DAP) team to #TeamPossible!

DAP Darwin has been supported by service partner, HELP Enterprises at the Robertson Barracks in the Northern Territory (NT) for the last six years. The team directly transitioned across to Endeavour Foundation on 1 May.

The well-established, highly regarded, incredibly busy team of nine enjoy a variety of tasks including warehouse support, barista work, shredding and digitisation of records.

Three of the team have been with DAP from its beginning, including Team Coordinator Kaitlyn (Katie), Defence Support Assistant (DSA) Nathan (both pictured with the new team bus) and DSA, Amanda.

The provision of a minibus for transport across the site has made logistics easier and the team’s working days much more comfortable. Nathan has been dreaming about having a minibus for many years and let out a big ‘wowee!’ when it arrived on base.

The rest of the team was just as excited and keen to get on board.

In celebration of the transition to Endeavour Foundation, the team recently held a morning tea and site visit where they welcomed family and Defence representatives.

Katie is proud of the program and is looking forward to welcoming more employees to DAP.

We have been wanting to grow our team for some time and we are looking forward to welcoming more DSA’s in the coming months. If you know anyone that would be a great fit, please reach out,

Nathan is so excited about the new team bus.

With DAP NT now under the Endeavour Foundation banner, there is the potential to increase our scope of services across the Northern Territory. Big win

Family visit at DAP Darwin

We now directly operate seven of the ten DAP sites across Australia, as well as manage the overall contract for Defence with partners delivering operations in ACT, Western and South Australia.

DAP has been operating since 2014 and is a Defence initiative to encourage an inclusive and diverse workforce, drawing from all segments of the Australian community while providing additional capacity for Defence.
