The prestigious Queensland Training Awards celebrate Queensland’s top training achievers. In 2024, Community Solutions have been able to spotlight some amazing nominees for the Bob Marshman Trainee of the Year award and the Harry Hauenschild Apprentice of the Year award!
We are proud to announce that one of our nominees, apprentice Lonnie Jacobs, who completed aCertificate III in Landscape Construction as part of his apprenticeship, has been shortlisted for a finalist position for the next stage of the 2024 Queensland Training Awards (QTA).
In January 2023 #TeamPossible news we shared that Lonnie took out Gold at the WorldSkills Australia Landscape Competition.
Thanks to this growth and experience, Lonnie has made a big impact in the industry, quickly moving up the ranks to become the main person in charge on landscaping site projects.

As he advances to the next stage, we wish him all the best! If successful, Lonnie could be a contender for the prestigious Harry Hauenschild Apprentice of the Year award in September.
