Celebrating 40 years with Gregory Singleton

Recently the team at Cairns social enterprise gathered to celebrate an incredible milestone, Gregory Singleton’s 40 years of service with Endeavour Foundation.

Gregory started with us on 14 January 1985, and over the years, he’s taken on many roles with pride and dedication. Today, he’s a key part of our archive box sorting and shredding crew, working the conveyor belt like a pro.

Gregory’s impact goes far beyond his tasks he brings community, heart and good humour to the workplace. His love of bowling is well known, competing every Wednesday night against teams of co-workers and friends.

Gregory is a proud member of the Yirrganydji people, whose traditional lands stretch from Cairns to Port Douglas. He lives with his sister Daphne Singleton, who joined the morning tea celebration along with brother Charlie Singleton and family member Della.

Gregory’s work means the world to him, and it’s clear he means the world to his team too.

Congratulations Gregory! 40 years of commitment, friendship and community is something truly worth celebrating.
