Housemates from Mareeba in Far North Queensland recently hit the road for an unforgettable day out and they did it in style!
After packing up their picnic gear 👒 and hopping into Lucy (the affectionate name they call their van), the crew set off with energy, excitement, and a mission: sunshine 🌞, sea 🌊, and sausages at beautiful Palm Cove.
The drive was filled with laughter and scenic views, with a quick stop at Koah Liberty for a toilet break and ice creams 🍦all around. Once at the beach, housemates Gary and Paul kicked off their shoes to feel the waves, while Leanne joined them at the water’s edge, soaking up the joyful moment.
Meanwhile, Support Worker, Josh, fired up the BBQ with Paul and Gary lending a hand, while Leanne, Eddie, and Frank explored the shoreline, spotting everything from friendly dogs to motorbikes.
Everyone gathered around the picnic table to share stories and enjoy a delicious beachside feast. Clean-up was a breeze thanks to the having lots of helping hands.
As they rode home in Lucy, the chatter slowly gave way to sleepy smiles proving the day was well spent.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and they are already planning their next road trip!
