Eight clients from Alex Hills L&L, Redcliffe L&L, Coopers Plains, Bowen Hills, and Lawnton were recently treated to a day out in the city. Embracing the city-lifestyle, the group got themselves to Rydges in South Bank in the morning for a tour of the hotel. The crew got to see both the front and back-of-house before being provided with a morning tea consisting of fruit and pastries. A huge thanks to Rydges own Zoe and Ellyce for hosting the group and providing such a relaxing yet engaging experience for all.
“It was such a nice change from the usual routine, and the clients had a great time learning about something new!” – Emily (support worker from Alexandra Hills)

The afternoon saw clients from Coopers Plains, Bowen Hills and Lawnton visiting Queensland Museum’s “Discovering Ancient Egypt” exhibition. These three groups arrived at different times and were lucky enough to score free tickets to the event. With no tour guide this time around the museumgoers were free to explore the museum and its exhibits freely at their own pace.
