Since 1951, #TeamPossible has championed the rights of people with disability to live independently, engage in meaningful employment and participate in the community.
Our founding families contended that every child should have the same access to education and other life opportunities – advocating for change and starting a school for people with disability to support them in realising their potential.
Our mission and vision today are as strong as they were 70 years ago.
“When I think of the founding families and the passion, purpose and commitment they instilled in our organisation, I’m proud to see the same passion across our organisation today as we live our values thanks to each and every one of our Endeavour family,” said CEO, David Swain.
With our 70th anniversary drawing to a close, David took a moment to reflect on how we celebrated with local region parties, Battle of the Bands, the Imagine What’s Possible competition, and the launch of our $45m My Home, My Life initiative. He also reflected on how we united to ensure the safety and support of our people throughout the pandemic.
David and our Board of Directors are now appointing a 75th Anniversary Planning Committee to lead the consultation on how we should mark this occasion. Watch his full message below.
