The Sunshine Coast Ready-Set-Connect event, organised by One Community, is a networking platform that connects disability service providers with parents, carers, support coordinators, teachers, and Local Area Coordinators (LACs).
Using a “speed dating” format, the event ensures attendees interact directly with service providers, allowing them to share information about their services and products while helping participants discover local support options.
It aims to promote informed choice and control in the disability sector, with a particular focus on resources for children with disabilities through special education programs and services. These events are held periodically, fostering engagement and awareness within the community.
