Wacol employee by day, rockstar by night
We are thrilled to share that Wacol employee, Simon Gleeson will be giving his first public performance as lead singer of the Fantastixxx on 4 November!
Fantastixxx is a talented and creative group, founded by Gail Wiltshire proprietor and director of the Twelfth Night Theatre in Brisbane.
The group is performing their show, Metamorphosis at the theatre, and Simon will also be showcasing his dance moves as part of the performance.
Simon has been part of the Fantastixxx since 2008 after his talents were spotted when performing in his previous band.
He says the Fantastixxx has had a positive influence on his life and has helped him to stay active. He and his mates have been rehearsing every fortnight for their upcoming show since March this year.
Simon has worked at Wacol social enterprise since 2008. His favourite things about being part of #TeamPossible are having a job he likes and seeing his friends. Simon currently enjoys filling up the workstations for people on the Qwik Stik line, so everyone has what they need to work.
Simon says to check out Metamorphosis if you’re in the Brisbane area on Saturday 4 November at 2pm. You can purchase tickets on the Ticketek website.
