We are joining National Disability Services (NDS), and peak bodies and organisations across Australia to call on the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and government to take urgent action to secure the future of services for people with disability and create a better NDIS.
The recent pricing review by the NDIA is proving inadequate, leading to a crisis in the NDIS market. A survey shows 75% of service providers may cut or halt services due to new price limits effective 1 July 2024.
The NDIA’s pricing strategy is failing to support quality, sustainable services and is threatening NDIS reform. This will disproportionately impact people with high needs and those in remote areas.
The government must better manage the NDIS.
How we can help
Help to secure the future for a better NDIS by writing to your local federal MP and asking them to take urgent action to keep disability services open.
We’ve provided a template letter that you can use to mail or email your federal member of parliament (MP), but please feel free to add further details if you would like.

Please help people at your site if they would like to send a letter. We’ve created the following resources to assist you with this.
For more information you can visit NDS – Secure a future for a better NDIS website page.
