Mandy is living her Best Days Ever!

You may remember Stefan and his Mum’s first reactions to seeing Stefan’s billboard on one of Melbourne’s busiest streets as part of ourBest Days Ever campaign.

Now it’s Mandy’s turn! 

Mandy recently celebrated her ninth work anniversary at Kew social enterprise in VIC. When we asked her if she would like to feature in local advertising across Melbourne, her answer was a resounding “yes!”. 

“Supersize! I’m happy!” she said upon seeing her billboard for the first time. 

Her mum, Yolanda, who was with Mandy at the time, had a similar reaction. 

“It was magic!” she said. 

​“People were ringing me and saying, ‘I saw Amanda on the billboard’. It was a good feeling that people were actually recognising her.”

Mandy said she is grateful for the solid support system she has at work where her tasks include packaging and labelling products for commercial partners.

“I love my job,” she said. “Too much!”

“And I love my team. There are some old friends and new friends. They have supported me heaps.”

Yolanda noted that the support Mandy receives at work gives her the confidence to take a step back and give Mandy the space to grow independently. This allows the mother-daughter duo to focus more on what matters: quality time with each other 💜.
