2024 Great Endeavour Rally is done and dusted

We can bet two rally participants, in particular, found this moment pretty special. We’re talking about ‘the Camerons’, Maroochydore social enterprise employees, Cameron Nicholas and Cameron McNamee. They represented us this year alongside their colleague, Jaime Barling, for this adventure of a lifetime.

The Great Endeavour Rally is done and dusted for another epic year.

Nearly 200 participants shared unforgettable moments, tackling nearly 4,000 kilometers of outback roads less travelled.

This included the legendary Cameron Corner, where NSW, SA and QLD converge, offering a rare chance for them to stand in three states at once!

Events Specialist, Nathan Woolhouse, said he is proud to be part of an event that enables adventurers to raise money to support people with disability while exploring the outback at the same time.

“There’s people who build a car for the event but there’s also people who just want to do a trip in the outback. This event is the best way to do it because there are no restrictions on the roads,” he said.

“This is the 35th year running the Rally and this year we are finally getting into South Australia after the COVID-19 years.

“There’s no better way to see the outback and you’ve got mechanical support on hand 24 hours a day which is rare when you go to the places you go.”

We are so thankful to the Rally teams, who together raised more than $648,000 to support more people with disability to turn their possibilities into a reality.
