Our Support

We provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) services to over 520 people, assisting them in achieving greater self-sufficiency and independence.

We support people in our SIL service through a shared supports model, where services are shared with other people living in the household. This model helps use resources effectively while ensuring everyone gets the help they need.

Funding for SIL

To ensure people in our services are adequately supported, leaders must assess the needs of people we support and work with the NDIS team to plan support within the funding available.

Before making any changes to support or rosters, check to make sure supports fits within the funding via email at [email protected]. If funding does not meet the needs of the person you support, the NDIS team will:

  • Work with you and the person we support to fix the issue.
  • Apply for a Change of Circumstance with the NDIA.
  • Seek urgent approval for safety needs if needed.
  • Escalate concerns if necessary.

This ensures people in our services receive the right support, with funding aligning to their needs.

Rent and Board Agreements

Every May and September, the Australian Government reviews pension rates based on the cost of living. This affects rent and board prices for people living in Endeavour Foundation SILs. People we support do not incur extra costs. All changes align with disability support pension rates.

We notify everyone about rate changes at least four weeks in advance. These changes apply only to people with current rent and board agreements with us. People without a rent and board agreement will not be affected.

For updated rent and board agreements, please email [email protected].

For other rent and board questions, contact the Finance team at [email protected].
