Frequently Asked Questions
When do I need to submit my resignation letter in PeopleSoft?
Exits need to be submitted in PeopleSoft within 24 hours of becoming aware of the employee leaving e.g. if an employee resigns on Monday, it needs to be submitted into PeopleSoft by Tuesday (even if their last day of employment isn’t for 2 weeks).
Can I use the paper Exit Form?
You can only use exit form if an employee has been made redundant or has passed away. The exit form will not be accepted for terminations or resignations.
Why do I submit the letter ahead of time?
To avoid overpayment, and to ensure exit surveys are circulated.
We circulate an exit survey to the departing employee to help gauge their experience of working at Endeavour Foundation, and how we can improve as an employer. It is important this is sent prior to the employee leaving the organisation.
